FUNDING
The main source of funding for the activities of the Union is through payment of annual subscriptions by affiliate facilities. Other sources include:
- Contributions from directors
- Donations from benevolent individuals and organisations
- Proceeds from social enterprises embarked upon by the Union.
PARTNERS
–MINISTRY OF HEALTH
The Ministry of Health-Ghana is the biggest and most important partner of the Union. This partnership is key in addressing the human resource needs of affiliate facilities under the Union especially clinical staff. It is also necessary in enabling the facilities in keeping up with standards as in other health facilities under the Ministry of Health.
–OFFICE OF THE NATIONAL CHIEF IMAM
The Office of the National Chief Imam is the lead facilitator for the activities of the Union. Besides nominating an envoy to serve on the Governing Board of the Union, the Office has facilitated the application processes of the Union at various levels and maintains an open door policy to the Union.

There are currently ten facilities registered under the Union in various regions of Ghana.

- Faako Medical center, Tamale-Northern Region
- Nasara Clinic, Savelugu-Northern Region
- N-Derr Naan Memorial Hospital, Dambai-Oti Region
- Tamah Specialist Hospital, Walewale-North-East Region
- Ummah Hospital, Tamale-Northern Region
- Wa Islamic Hospital, Wa, Upper West Region
- Amat-Zak Memorial Maternity Home and Clinic, Tamale-Northern Region
