Our Programmes
The activities of the Union is both clinical and administrative. Whilst the main function of the affiliate Health facilities is the delivery of quality healthcare, it is the responsibility of the Union to ensure that the right framework exists to ensure that the facilities deliver the desired result. This is to be achieved through the following:
- Maintain active body of health facilities that subscribe to the objectives of the Union
- Collaborate with MOH in addressing Human Resource needs of affiliate facilities and ensuring opportunities for Continuous Professional Development
- Ensure good governance and administrative procedure at all levels within affiliate facilities
- Initiate policies that will promote Employee Welfare for enhanced productivity

MINISTRY OF HEALTH
The Ministry of Health-Ghana is the biggest and most important partner of the Union. This partnership is key in addressing the human resource needs of affiliate facilities under the Union especially clinical staff. It is also necessary in enabling the facilities in keeping up with standards as in other health facilities under the Ministry of Health.
OFFICE OF THE NATIONAL CHIEF IMAM
The Office of the National Chief Imam is the lead facilitator for the activities of the Union. Besides nominating an envoy to serve on the Governing Board of the Union, the Office has facilitated the application processes of the Union at various levels and maintains an open door policy to the Union.
